Buyer tool / Renewal planning

Your contract has more than one important date.

Separate the notice deadline, the procurement process and the date supply actually ends.

Choose an end date and valid whole-day counts to build your plan.

Dates use calendar days, including weekends and holidays. “At least,” “not more than,” business-day rules, notice windows and required receipt can change the deadline. Check the signed contract. The calendar download is created locally and does not schedule a message or send a reminder from this website.

Read the notice clause before using the result

A supply end date does not automatically cancel an agreement. Some contracts renew into a new term or a variable product. A notice clause may specify a window, a recipient, a delivery method and when notice must be received. This planner subtracts the days you enter; it cannot interpret those terms.

Build three workstreams

  1. Contract: confirm expiry, notice, renewal product and termination conditions.
  2. Account: gather meter inventory, twelve months of usage, operating changes and credit requirements.
  3. Decision: allow time for eligible suppliers to price the same product and for an authorized signer to review the full agreement.

Keep a record of notice

Ask the supplier to confirm the notice address and accepted method. Retain what you sent, when you sent it and evidence of receipt. Changing supplier is a separate enrollment process that may depend on meter-read cycles and utility rules.

Read the renewal guide and use the offer comparison tool once quotes are available. Nothing entered here is saved or sent by the planner.
